Google Analytics gets data about the MailChimp source campaign with utm-marks. Because of this, it is important that each landing page for every campaign have the Google Analytics code properly installed. Otherwise, source data will be lost, and it will not be reported on in Google Analytics.
The instructions on the MailChimp website do not cover how to import clicks and cost data from MailChimp to Google Analytics. This is not done by default; rather, it occurs when you integrate Google Analytics and Google AdWords campaigns. However, this can be done using the Google Analytics Data Import feature and the MailChimp API or Supermetrics.
